"Hockey is a great sport because it combines the physicality of football, the team play of basketball, the poetry of ballet, the complexity of mathematics, and the aerobics of soccer. There is only one activity that is more physically, emotionally, and intellectually captivating than hockey, and it's not blogging."

If anyone into very artistic/weird movies wants something to dive into...Rent or watch City of Lost Children

Watched it in the theatre when it came out in 1995, but forgot how unbelievably odd and thought provoking it was.  It is one of those movies that has no gore or horror, but if you are under 13 years old and view it...you will be twisted for life.  Saw it last night again to get a more mature opinion, and can say that 50 years from now this may be one of those obscure items from which material is based.

That being said - it is contextually very "rich" and may simply be too much stimulation for most people.  Think of Tim Burton, but replace quirky with really, really dark and gritty.

Must add...if you like Steampunk style - This is THE movie to watch.

It is also, I believe, the inspiration of the anime Paprika

I agree. I actually drove to Atlanta to watch it in the theater back in '95. Excellent film.

Added to my Netflix queue.  Too bad it isn't available to stream.

I remember selling that game @ EB.  If I recall, it didn't sell all that well, partly because of the rather creepy cover...
